Imperial Stout 24% Barrel Aged Bourbon Basil-Hayden
Imperial Stout 24% is a strong extremely black top-fermented STOUT with its 11.0% alcohol and typical aromas of roasted coffee, chocolate, etc. We brewed it in November 2022 and moved it to BASIL-HAYDEN and OLD FORESTER bourbon wooden barrels at the beginning of December and left to mature in them for 10 months. In October 2023, we bottled the beer, added a little yeast and sugar and left it to mature in the bottles for another month and a half. The result is 2 special editions of 500 bottles each. After the bourbon, both beers acquired the character of vanilla, slightly wood, Basil-Hayden slightly with hints of nuts and plums, Old Forester slightly with hints of mint, pine. Combined with coffee and chocolate stout, this beer promises a unique taste experience.
